On a recent trip to Washington D.C., I paid a visit to the new home of Joe’s Record Paradise.
The store recently reopened in the basement of an office building at 8700 Georgia Ave., and as you can see from the pictures below, is full of used records of all genres. They were sampling some tasty old soul/blues while I was there.

A recent article from the Washington Post At Joe’s Record Paradise The Music Goes Round and Round describes the store’s latest move. It features a picture of the store’s current owner, Johnson Lee, son of the original Joe, Joe Lee.
