Song of the Day
Today’s song of the day is Johnny Rivers – Secret Agent Man. From 1966, this song, written by P.F.Sloan and Steve Barri, was originally (as a much shorter version) used as the theme of a British spy series – called Danger Man in England, and subsequently Secret Agent in the States – starring Patrick McGoohan. It reached number three in the US, and has the guitar sound typical of 60s garage rock.
